Biography
Amelia Davis is a professional classical pianist and composer with a mashup of romantic and contemporary influences. She graduated from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Master’s degree in piano performance and moved to the USA to perform with Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and Broward Orchestra.
She started piano lessons when she was 7 years old and quickly felt in love with the instrument. In spite of studying a very structured program she quickly began to explore her creative side and was always improvising on the piano as well as enjoying playing classical pieces. Throughout her youth she entered and placed in a few competitions. She was also involved with the band chorus, dance and drama and attended lots of concerts, plays, operas, ballets. All that gave her a well-rounded artistic upbringing.
She pursued her passion for music and graduated to the world renowned Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory of music with Master’s degree in piano performance and teaching. Her education taught her to understand piano in depth, along with music theory and ear training.
Since then she’s mastered her talent playing for The Walt Disney Company and many other important venues, such as Portofino Bay Hotel At Universal Orlando, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, and Disney Grand Floridian. She played for numerous conventions and concerts such as for Republican Governorns Association conference, NFL Pro Bowl and more.
Other than being a music performer and composer, Amelia is also a piano teacher with a long time successful history with Royal Conservatory in University of Central Florida for which she also served as examiner.
